As part of the Civic Initiative for an Independent Judiciary, EPF announces a request for proposals (RFP) for projects aimed at engaging NGOs and media outlets in advocating for judicial independence in Georgia. The goal of the grant program is to strengthen the judiciary as an equal branch of the government by addressing the most problematic issues pertaining to judicial independence and advocating for positive changes in Georgia’s legal system.
The grant competition will award up to eight grants. The maximum grant award for each proposal is $55,000 with project activities lasting 12 to 18 months. It should be noted that $55,000 is the upper grant amount threshold, while the lower grant threshold is $15,000.
